A complete Site Development Plan can be prepared for your residence or business, tailored to your
needs, preferences and budget. This plan will include all hardscape and
landscape design elements. The process is simple: we will visit the site,
acquire needed information from site measurements or existing plans, and begin
with initial design concepts.
Then we will produce a Site Development Plan, which will include all hardscape elements: drives, walks, patios, pools, and all other desired features. This plan, especially for those building a new home, is absolutely indispensable. We have the experience and knowledge to design your entire property so that all elements fit and flow together. Our goal is to achieve the best possible design while considering the function of all design elements.
The second step is to create a Landscape Design. Once the Site Plan is complete, the process can continue to design the details of the landscaping. Many factors are considered, including the climate, soil, sun exposure, mature size, hardiness and maintenance requirements of all the plant material. The design will feature a balance of evergreen and deciduous plants, with and a variety of sizes, colors and textures. A special emphasis will be placed on selecting plant material that thrives in our climate, and is relatively low-maintenance.
Included with a Landscape Design will be a proposal which will include a
detailed list of the sizes and prices of all materials needed to install the
design. Also included will be a landscape labor cost for Strahorn
Landscaping to fully install the landscape. The proposal may also be
prepared to reflect how the entire project could be installed in phases.
There is a fee for a Site Development Plan and/or a Landscape Design, determined by the time necessary to adequately measure, design, draw and calculate your unique plan. The amount of time will vary greatly depending on the size of the overall project. Some projects may need only a few hours of design; others require many hours to create the best possible solution for your home. After an initial appointment and viewing of the site, our designers can give you an estimate of the total cost of a design.
